Rancho Mission Viejo, California – A total of 175 new two-story detached homes have been made available for sale in the Village of Rienda as part of Rancho Mission Viejo’s ongoing development plan. This announcement comes after a long development phase, marking a significant milestone within Phase 3 of the community’s expansion. The homes, designed by Trumark Homes and Shea Homes, officially opened to prospective buyers during a grand celebration held on June 22, which saw over 800 attendees.
According to the vice president of marketing for Rancho Mission Viejo, the release of these homes presents one of the last chances to purchase attainable properties within Orange County’s largest master-planned community. The Village of Rienda is designed to foster a sense of neighborliness among residents of all ages and stages of life, emphasizing community spirit.
The Village of Rienda offers numerous amenities to its residents including Ranch Camp, Rienda Plunge, Boulder Pond, and Playground, enhancing the living experience within the neighborhood. The community is strategically located amidst thousands of acres of protected open space within The Nature Reserve, which ensures a serene environment and access to outdoor activities.
To further support local families, a new school, Rienda TK-8, is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in 2027. Once completed, this educational facility will accommodate up to 1,600 students and feature advanced teaching technology tailored for modern learning environments.
The Village of Rienda is located less than five miles from the bustling downtown San Juan Capistrano and a 15-minute drive from both San Clemente and Doheny State Beach, enhancing its appeal as a desirable location for potential homebuyers. The homes are under construction and are expected to welcome their first residents in September 2025.
Potential buyers can explore several model homes available for viewing during the welcome event, showcasing different design variations. The Sapphire homes by Trumark range from 2,400 to 2,800 square feet, offering 4-5 bedrooms and starting at a price in the mid-$1 million range.
