April 4, 2025, was an exciting day for high school baseball in Orange County, where teams battled it out on the diamond in a series of games that left fans on the edge of their seats! With numerous standout performances and thrilling matchups, it’s time for our weekly roundup of all the action.

Estancia Strikes Gold Against Anaheim

In a fantastic display of skill, Estancia took down Anaheim with a commanding 5-0 victory. This win bolstered their record to 10-5 overall and an impressive 5-1 in league play. Pitching ace Nico Viramontes was on fire, tossing a complete game shutout, allowing only three hits while striking out three. With this stellar performance, he improved his record to 5-0.

Offensively, it was a team effort with several players stepping up: Miles Dodge went 2 for 3 with a run scored and a double. Not far behind were Vaughn McCrea and Carlos Hauser, who each contributed significant hits. Hauser had an RBI, and Jacob Ramirez added two of his own along with another crucial double.
