Born on May 18, 1934, in Jamestown, New York, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Ditonto Destro and had a younger sister, Cynthia. Calannio was known for her warmth, humor, and generous spirit, leaving behind a legacy of love and memorable family gatherings.

Survived by Family

Calannio is survived by her three children, who include Thomas Calannio and his wife Linda and their son Landon, all of Salinas, California. Cathy Marion, another daughter, resides in Houston, Texas, with her husband, Jesse, while her youngest son, Jeffrey Calannio, lives in Laguna Niguel, California, with his wife Kara and their daughter Sienna.
