Seattle, Washington — Jeron Jones, a four-star cornerback from Mission Viejo High School in California, has officially committed to the Washington Huskies for the Class of 2026. His decision marks the 15th commitment to the program as it continues to build its future roster.
Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds, Jones stands out as a defensive prospect, having drawn attention from prominent programs such as Texas A&M, Arizona State, California, USC, along with offers from 15 additional schools. Recently upgraded to a four-star status with a 90 rating by 247Sports, he is ranked as the nation’s No. 25 cornerback and the No. 32 overall prospect in California.
Throughout his high school career, Jones has showcased remarkable skills, recording 11 interceptions across three varsity seasons, five of which he returned for touchdowns. He has accumulated a total of 129 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks, illustrating his significant impact on the field. His most recent junior season saw him tally 58 tackles, three interceptions, and eight pass break-ups while helping his team achieve a 10-1 record.
