Dana Point will kick off its expanded Free Summer Trolley service on Friday, May 23, 2025, offering new stops and enhanced connections throughout the summer season. The service will run daily until Labor Day, September 1, 2025, operating from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday, with extended hours on weekends and holidays.
The extended trolley hours include service from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Fridays, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturdays, and 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sundays. On Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor Day, the trolley service will run from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. The addition of new trolley stops aims to improve accessibility for residents and visitors alike.

A connection to the Laguna Beach Free Coastal Trolley is available at Salt Creek Beach/Ritz Carlton, allowing for seamless transportation for those wishing to explore the wider area. Additionally, Laguna Beach has a Weekend Summer Breeze service that operates Thursdays through Sundays, connecting various festivals in the area.
Other local options include the Laguna Niguel Summer Weekend Trolley, which runs every 20 minutes on the same days, and the San Juan Capistrano free weekend trolley service operating on Saturdays and Sundays. Furthermore, the San Clemente Daily Summer Trolley will also operate from May 23, 2025, to September 30, 2025, featuring trolleys every 15 minutes during the weekdays.
