The game reached a climactic finish after Mater Dei’s Chris Henry Jr., who is committed to Ohio State, caught the game-winning touchdown pass from quarterback Ryan Hopkins with just six minutes left in the fourth quarter. Bishop Gorman attempted to tie the game with a 43-yard field goal from Hudson Borsari, but the kick was unsuccessful, missing wide left.
