Mission Viejo – The Pacific Symphony will launch its 2025 summer concert series, Pacific Symphony On The Go, by hosting free outdoor concerts throughout Orange County. The opening concert is scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2025, at 6:30 PM in Napoli Park, located at 27682 Napoli Way, Mission Viejo. The concert will feature a woodwind quintet led by clarinetist Josh Ranz.

The ensemble performing at the inaugural concert includes notable musicians: Larry Kaplan on flute, Ted Sugata on oboe, Elliott Moreau on bassoon, Henry Bond on French horn, and Josh Ranz on clarinet. This talented group will present an engaging program that showcases a variety of pieces, including Malcolm Arnold’s Three Shanties, Edvard Grieg’s In the Hall of the Mountain King, and György Ligeti’s Six Bagatelles, among others. These selections aim to set an inviting atmosphere for families and music lovers.

The series will continue the following day, Saturday, June 28, 2025, with a concert in Seal Beach at 6:00 PM at Eisenhower Park, located at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Main Street. The program for this concert will mirror that of the Mission Viejo performance, ensuring consistency for attendees who may wish to see it again.

Beyond the opening weekend, the Pacific Symphony has scheduled additional performances across various Orange County cities, including Huntington Beach, Dana Point, Buena Park, La Palma, Rancho Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, San Clemente, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, San Juan Capistrano, and Placentia. The complete series will bring delightful music to communities from late June through July 2025.

The Pacific Symphony will utilize a strikingly decorated mobile stage, tailored with vibrant images of both musicians and Music Director Carl St.Clair. This mobile setup aims to enhance the concert experience, drawing the attention and excitement of concertgoers in a welcoming manner. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for comfort during the performances.

All concerts are subject to weather conditions, potentially affecting the schedule in case of inclement weather. The outdoor setting allows audiences to enjoy music while engaging with their surrounding community, fostering a joyful environment for outdoor summer entertainment.

The Pacific Symphony On The Go festival is designed to ensure music is accessible to all, especially reaching families who may face economic hardships or those with sensory challenges. The series offers specific concerts catered to audiences with neurodevelopmental disorders, aiming to create meaningful connections through the shared experience of music.

The focus of this concert series is to promote community engagement and inclusivity, providing a chance for all individuals to enjoy the beauty of live classical music in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
