Mission Viejo’s Symphony on the Go Series Resumes with Two Outdoor Concerts

The Symphony on the Go series is making a vibrant return to Mission Viejo, in cooperation with the Pacific Symphony. Two free outdoor concerts are scheduled for late May and June 2025, promising an evening of engaging classical music for residents and visitors alike.

The first concert is slated for May 30, 2025, at Pavilion Park, located at 24051 Pavilion. The performance is set to begin at 6:30 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM for attendees to arrive early, set up beach chairs and blankets, and enjoy pre-concert activities. The second concert will follow on June 27, 2025, at Napoli Park, situated at 27682 Napoli Way, also commencing at 6:30 PM.

Both concerts aim to cater to a family-friendly audience and will feature popular musical pieces performed from a mobile stage, making it an enjoyable experience for concertgoers of all ages. Attendees can also look forward to accessible parking available at both locations.

In addition to the outdoor concerts, the Symphony on the Go series includes an exciting classical concert by string musicians from the Pacific Symphony, taking place on April 16, 2025, from 7 to 8 PM at the Jeronimo Tunnel. This event includes seating arrangements and refreshments available for purchase, while no prior registration is required for entry.

The City of Mission Viejo is committed to ensuring that its performances are accessible to all, emphasizing inclusivity through the Heartstrings initiative. This program tailors concert experiences for audiences with neurodevelopmental disorders, expanding outreach and engagement to a broader segment of the community. The initiative collaborates with local schools, social services, and non-profit organizations to deliver customized performances, demonstrating dedication to community involvement.

Over the years, the Pacific Symphony has established a solid track record in fundraising, successfully raising significant funds to support educational and community engagement programs that further enhance the region’s cultural landscape. These events are part of a larger effort to break down barriers to participation in classical music, making it accessible to everyone regardless of background or circumstances.

For further information regarding the upcoming concerts and events, residents can reach the City of Mission Viejo’s arts department via email at arts@cityofmissionviejo.org.

Mission Viejo’s Symphony on the Go concerts not only promise delightful musical performances but also serve as a cultural cornerstone aimed at fostering community spirit and inclusivity, inviting everyone to partake in the joys of classical music.
